I hope no one eats at the Rice Bowl on Florin. If you do, you might want to
see this Or you might not (via sacrag). Don't forget
that fun website where you can check the health reports of local restaurants. Glad to see that Trails cleaned up their act.
I hate trails. last time i ordered take out i got stuck sitting in there for 40 minutes waiting for my food. People ordered food, ate and left while i was waiting.
ReplyDeleteDon't hate on trails! Here's why: 1) The chicken is good
ReplyDelete2) The homzee's grandma used to own it
3) It was a chain started by Esther Williams and I think this is the last remaining one, but there could be on in L.A., I can't remember.
what's up with the no linky? that's cold, hecka cold.
ReplyDeleteLa Fiesta= major violations. The violations don't look that bad to me though. The Tower Cafe is the place with visible roach action.
ReplyDeleteheckasac, where is 'trails' ?
ReplyDeleteesther williams fan wants to know.

Trails is on Broadway right near the AM PM. What cross street is this, guys? I wouldn't bother going there if you're a vegetarian, though. Unless you're hankering for an iceberg salad.
ReplyDelete21st and Broadway. On the Freeport side. Spittin' distance from the Circus.
ReplyDeleteWow (and yuck). When I lived by there in the '80's Rice Bowl seemed pretty clean (though I never saw the kitchen).
ReplyDeleteYes, there appears to be a "The Trails" restaurant that is old about 5 miles down historic rt. 66 from the Santa Anita Racetrack.
ReplyDeleteI will have to give it a try and see if decor and food stand up to Sac's Trails.
Btw, the Santa Anita Racetrack is the coolest place ever. Also home of the best hot corned beef sandwich I ever had.
