remember the alhambra ('s small coffee cup lids)

Biz-local bloggers are buzzing about the Tower's coffee cups. What gives? Here's a quote:

Also, what is up with the Tower Theatre STILL being out of lids for the small coffee cups? This is the third time in a month that I've gone there and been shut down. I didn't really think anything of it until 2 weeks ago when I talked to Mark's dad Art who told me he'd been having the same trouble for more than a month. He brings his own travel mug now. I didn't do that last night and ended up getting a large coffee which, ultimately, was OK because I didn't finish it, took it home and reheated it this morning.

The people want answers that only Biz can provide.

Yeah I know the ordering has been abysmal lately. The coffee lids have been out forever, we’ve gone back to having the wrong sized lids for the med. soda, we ran out of bottle water, Dr. Pepper, oil and butter topping, and I can't recall ever running out of butter before. I’d like to help you out but it’s not my department. On the plus side we have plenty of vegan cookies. In fact I figured out the other day that we should have enough to last 3.8 years, assuming we don’t get any more orders in. Which we will.

P.S., Who the hell reheats coffee? Yuck.

  2. posting this reminded me that we should start a betting pool on how long it will be before tower re-covers the walls in the smoke damaged theater. for this betting pool it will be acceptable to place bets in amounts of like a couple million or one zillion dollars because by the time the reading corp. gets around to it, our currency will all be devalued to the point where these will be realistic amounts. and we will also just have atms contained within tiny computer chips on our wrists, which will make paying up more convenient.

p.s.-what's up with that patch of beard on the worm's neck? i hear ladies love it.

Just blame that fire. Or start filming the concession area since it basically sounds like some sitcom scenario.

P.S. If you run out of tickets, I'm right by Wishing Well

You say that as if we've never run out of ticket stock, and had to use carnival tickets.

seriously, one of my favorite things is the Biz's stories of tower problems. did you really have to use carnival tickets before because you were out of ticket stock?
