A Melvins/Jello Biafra/Losin' Streaks bill does look strange on paper, but apparently Jello took quite a liking to the band when he saw them at SXSW this year. My guess is he specifically requested them to play the show.
If smiller is dying to get his Losin' Streaks fix, he can do it this Saturday at the Firedance Lounge, where they're playing with the Dissimilars. Those guys are bananas about the Bananas.
Mario has the 411... the Harold Ray dudes got Jello to check out th' Streaks in Texas and then he was nice enough to ask us to play on the show on the 9th.
and there's no mystery to th' pronunciation/spelling re: missing letters. it's easy... just imagine how Little Orphan Annie would say it. Arf!
