I knew it.

Now the Bee is dabbling in conspiracy theories.

  1. If David Townsend says something, then it's pretty much true.
You have my word on that.

  2. It only makes sense. There is no way that savvy businessmen like the Maloofs and a slimy political pro like Richie Ross could fuck up that bad without trying.

I know this is late for this thread, and probably best ignored anyway. But it was Townsend's firm that ran the No on Measure L campaign for PG&E. I know they're smart and (obviously) competent guys. But I'm not sure about the idea that "if David Townsend says something, it's pretty much true."

Of course, maybe Stephen Glass was being ironic. And I'm idiot. But when Stephen Glass says something...

Please, some Sacramento whackjob who "claims" to be an expert on politics is to be trusted? yeah, and I'm selling a Brige in Brooklyn, you interested?

Maloof talks to Thomas and Thomas says he doesn't even know if he'll be involved because of problems with City and the Site.

Maloof is dealing with same bunch of clowns who dug up the Mandela Gardens for their fat cat Developer buddies, and these Heather Fargo clowns don't even live in Sacramento.

Joe Maloof can figure out incompetent Sacramento City whackoffs and why should he sabotage an election when these same Sacramento whackjobs are perfectly capable of torpedoing their own election.
