Ah, so you've been spying on me, eh? Yes, I went to a Pizza Hut yesterday for the Punjabi Special. Click that link and it should take you to the Indian Pizza Hut site.
It was very expensive for India. For three of us, with a large pizza (half vegetarian with corn and half chicken both made in the Indian way), a pitcher of Masala lemonade (bleh), two trays of cheesy garlic bread and a salad, it was US$22.
It's the 2nd pizza place I've tried. So far neither have been as good as that place in the Mission. If that place wasn't so good, I doubt I would even try pizza here since the food is so good.
I also haven't been to McDonalds but Indians say it is a very good deal. 20 rupee specials (47 cents).
Pictures of the pizza (and of the Punjabi Special sign) will be posted on my blog in a day or so.
negri's in occidental. fabulous italian food - get the ravioli or polenta. canoe on the river with burke's canoes. grab a bottle of wine from one of the vinyards in the region get some local cheese and have a picnic at one of the tons of river beaches. enjoy it! RMW
Ate at an Indian fast food place last night where my Indian friend wanted pizza. Three times and it's okay, but not as good as the place in SF. Maybe I'll look them up on yelp for advise on what to order.
p.s.-Joshua Ploeg has calzones for sale after five today.
ReplyDeletep.p.s.-do people have recommendations for the guerneville area? like places to eat and stuff to do? hikes? smiller LOVES to hike. psyche!
Hey! I was way in to our Big Sur hike! Unlike someone else I know who swore we were hopelessly lost the whole time.

ReplyDeleteI feel like I am on the hike all over again.
