When journalism covers MJ more than the 2 wars we're in, what's going on in Iran, Obama in Russia, Sarah Palin losing it and the death of the serial killer in South Carolina, is there much of a difference?
Is this guy also writing McDonalds' current advertising campaign? The one encouraging people to stop faking their love for literature and indie rock and come on down to McD's for coffee that's just as good as the stuff served up at said pretentious cafes?
His other posts are equally inane. This isn't news - it's navel gazing with a hearty dose of paranoia. Is it that difficult for him to speak to people? What, is he from Mayberry?
Sac Press has some decent people posting about local policits, but they really, really need to have a better filter for contributors.
Anyone can post articles on Sacramento Press once they sign up for an account. There is no filtering process: you write the story and post it, it goes up on the site. They have taken down stories and comments for being particularly inflammatory or libelous, but generally they don't take them down for being, well, like that one.
What the fuck is "fake small talk"?

Oh, lordy. Sacramento Press gave a voice to the one person who is still scarred from their high school experience.

Anyone read about the lawsuit against the Squeeze Inn on the Bee site yet? They are catching it for being so small.

ReplyDeleteThey should. But generally, I like Sac Press.
ReplyDeleteThe Squeeze Inn article is chock full o' crazy comments. Why do I ever read the SacBee comments? I'd be better off pounding my head into a brick wall.
ReplyDeleteI thought that you already had your head pounded against a brick wall. Why would you do that again?
