nog dog!

I barely have time to post today. Tonight is the first night of hanukah. Mazel tov, if that's appropriate. Tomorrow there are dueling events, which sucks. Can someone post more info on the nog dogs party? I dont' have time to find that original comment. Also, the J. Richman show is tomorrow. JC is in town, can IJQ be far behind?

  3. I overcame my laziness for one moment and found the earlier comment about the partay:

for those of you that aren't going to see jonathan richman on the 16th, there's a house party with music provided by jay baker, the swiss family skiers (from sf) and the return of the nog dogs (featuring members of rock the light). if you're interested ask someone who knows about it, or e-mail me at codyjscottatgmaildotcom.

  4. it's on truckee way, off of 34th street by sac high. if you can find truckee way you'll be able to find the house, because we're the only red blooded americans on the street who put up christmas lights. music start at 8ish and will hopefully be over by 11ish. but you know how those nog dogs are...

  6. holy smokes! i missed it! talk about good times.

i got home this morning from an all day punk festival kind of thing yesterday. over 20 japanese punk bands. we took over a three hour bus ride to get there.

this month is full of parties. i forget the term, but it loosely translates to `forget the past year` or something. which also translates to non stop drinking.

Jonathan Richman was great. Started out awkward (I mean, even for him awkward), warmed up, played very few favorites but made me like newer songs that I didn't think I liked.
By the end I was charmed through.
Thanks for reminding me about the show. Made a great birthday date for Bryna.
