friday cruise

So, we drove to Nevada to go camping, but then when we got there, Jamattack and I were having so much fun sitting in the car and being totally sober and fasting, that we decided it would be more fun to just turn around and drive back home.  I like nothing better than just a nice, leisurely cruise to Nevada and back on a friday.  I did get to see the Four Eyes in Placerville and they were the best!

For Biz's graduation, we went to Miller Park.  I think you can agree that no one's ever partied like this before.
Then we saw Nessie!
This dude cruised by and jammed for a little while.
The Best Present That Biz Has Ever Received
I decided not to keep my picture off the site anymore, so there I am on the left.  Identity revealed.
Did you know that you can be fined a thousand bucks for an open container?  That's something I learnd this weekend.

now it they would just disable comments about firefighter-related issues! smiller sent me a really funny one where the commenter said that they should hire minimum wage employees to drive the trucks and that all jobs should be combo firefighter/cop. so simple! how come no one thought of that before?

"Firefighters" are another joke. If we had any brains, we would eliminate the firefighter positions and make a police/firefighter position. Have 1 min. wage person at a firestation to drive the truck to the incident and have the police hose the place down. This would help the deficit by having the police (which are usually last to arrive on the scene of an accident so the truck would already be there) be trained to put out fires also. This would save huge amounts of monies by eliminating most of the firefighters wasted idle time and the public paying high salaries for people to polish the brass on the engines. My other suggestion is to have a hand car wash in the firehouses. They seem to keep the firetrucks and houses extremely clean...this is just a natural. Plus most firehouse buildings already have drive through convenience already built right in them...so it's a no brainer.

Cops with hoses, when has that ever gone wrong?

Just went over to the Bee, they shut down the comment section so the fine denziens of Sac are now commenting the Forums section. People hate it when their free speech is impinged upon by not letting them post bile on a privately owned and opertaed website. Gotta feel bad for em'.

Shit! I was so busy recording the new Four Eyes cassingle last night, that I totally forgot about the Gregory Webster show. Did anybody go, and if so, how was it?

The show was great! He played a bunch of Razorcuts songs. But recording the Four Eyes cassingle is an acceptable excuse for missing it.

Anyone not willing to drive 12 hours from Sacramento to see the 4eyes live in Placerville is NOT a real fan. Too bad I was so tired when we got there I had to go home.
