No, some brew bros of smillers said this place has good german beer, I guess it's on Auburn near greenback. I googled german deli and it's just called the german deli. that was easy.
Right where Auburn Boulevard meets Manzanita. I have been there--it's wurst-o-riffic! I'm surprised that you haven't been there yet...it has been there for as long as I remember (moved out to Citrus Heights in 1980 and it was there then) but only stopped in a couple of times.
i crave their reubens and the beer selection will blow you away...super nice people. best way to get there is cut into FOBlvd. and follow that road up there = avoid 80! but if you like cemetaries take 80 'cuz there is the famous people bakery to oogle, East Lawn.

Back when Mather was a NATO base, all of the West German families in my neighborhood used to swear by that place. And I know one or two people who cater their Oktoberfest parties with whatever they can find there.
Beckler, how do I get a hold of you? I have a comment, which I'd rather not post here, for reasons that will make perfect sense to you when I tell you.
I recently road my bike past said deli. Even a a teenager I was amazed at it's location in th' Heights. I always assumed it was a front for the German Mafia. Heckabecks, if you go out there I offer myservices as a for resident of th' Heights to be your guide.

On the German situation in Sacramento.
The German Deli is no longer run by the crazy rude Bavarian women. Last time I was there the person helping me was very nice. I guess its been sold to some Americans who want to keep it as German as possible. Sadly, they showcase Hormel's Saag’s brand leberkasse as the thing that sets them apart (like the former owners). The problem is you can buy it at most grocery stores its called "German Baloney" by Saag's.
Luckily, we have Morants Sausage kitchen. They make all their own German wurst authentically. They even have ready made saurkraut, wurstsalad, and a few more unusual things. You can't buy sandwiches but you can get a hot leberkasse mit brot if you go on a Friday or Sat. I also buy my pickles, pudding and vinegars there. They have real German candy and perhaps a few beers. The downside is the location. Its on Franklin and sometimes I just don't feel safe getting out of my car.
Sudwerk, seems to have developed an attitude about serving German food. They act like it was a bad thing. I miss the old menu. It's now typical American food that doesn't ever seem to be served properly. The Folsom location is especially bad. They have a beautiful view so they think they can get by on that.
We need more German restaurants in Sacramento!!!
