coo coo coo coo barabajabal

Fine, do I have to update to get some comments? Well, I've got nothing to say, so how do you like them apples?

All the bands and side projects and performance artists were good last night. The bass player of the Singles is leaving town for awhile, so I don't know when they'll play again, which makes me sad. Mike C. played the Donavan tune "Barabajabal", which is one of my favorites, and he played my favorite Troggs song, too! Speaking of DJing, I get to DJ at that Makeout Party show, which I'm pretty excited about. Do you guys know about the pizza eating contest beforehand? Big prize money. 500 bucks I think.

The Singles were crazy good! Biz had particularly tight jams, and blew several minds, including yours truly. If the singles need a fill in bass player I know an Armenian who can play that 4 string motherfucker, as long they don't mind some walkin'.

veri-word: ushing!!!!!

I agree that show was great, if not a bit late for my delicate workin woman sensibilities. But totally worth it.
Tight jams all around.

I want to make a joke about ushing, as in "will you ush the door shut on that comment" but it keeps not quite coming together.

I had to ush up the mess that all those blown minds created. Seriously, that was a great show.

I promise to run that 300 Room show featuring the debut of the Charles Albright XXXperience (which features songs from his solo 7") next Thursday (Aug 20) on a tight enough schedule to jibe right with delicate working person's schedules. I promise this because right after the show, I've gotta four-hour drive to Yreka, and I wanna get there by 3am. So, I'm aiming to end it at 11pm.

How's that gonna work? Well, doors at 8:30, showtime by 9:15, and the Canadian bands (who I swear you will all love) will be sharing equipment.

I am bummed to have missed this show. Also bummed to miss the Makeout Party show (I really love them! And Dreamdate!) because I will be camping. Also, bummed to miss the Charles Albright experience because that is the night that Project Runway begins. Sorry Charles, I'm an addict.

I'm still reeling from the show on Monday. The Singles are so F'n good, Tristan's guitar sounded like a trumpet and the band was tight as shit, I can't think of the last non Bananas show where "1 more song!" was demanded by so many. And Biz, twirling knobs, on his knees, making beats, blowing minds all around!WTF!?! May be my favorite show of 09'.
