show on tuesday night

I obviously have a bajillion things I could post, but I think the most important is about a very excellent lineup of bands playing tomorrow at the Hub, 8 pm. An SF band on Slumberland with two! women in it called Brilliant Colors, the return of English Singles, G. Green and Uzi Rash? Who's that?

I thought all three Brilliant Colors were ladies. Rad band in any case. It's been too long since English Singles played, so I'm stoked. And Uzi Rash are a band that formed in Seattle by ex-leader of The Trashies, Max...now based in Oakland. They made a really good LP last year on Freedom School. Weird, but really fun. http://www.myspace.com/uzirash Fans of Swell Maps and early live recordings of Wire and The Fall should love 'em.

Brilliant Colors is one of SF's best bands right now. They've got the C86 thing down.

for those of you who don't leave your house for the month of January so that you can watch every episode of LOST before the season premiere on Feb 2nd: Orange Peel Mouth has a new poll up and we will now be posting regularly.

Enjoy.
