New Year

This was the scene in front of SF Supermarket on Monday. I should have cruised that area on Sunday to see the full New Year's festivities. I was in Oakland on Saturday and it was also getting pretty crazy. Did anyone go out for dim sum and was it crazy crowded? Or do any other kind of celebrating? I ate one of the Vietnamese banh tet cakes (rice and pork), but I didn't like the powdery consistency of the pork. It's probably a food that's better made at home.
It still smelled really strongly of firecrackers. I love that smell.
Speaking of Oriental Chow (hey, I didn't name the puzzle!) here's Babs new hangout. The puzzle den!

Puzzleden sounds like a Roald Dahl location.

iiii''''mmmmmmm bbaaaaaccccckkkkk, Worm here, just wondering what all the hub-bub is about? i got in touch with my exxx-girlfriend, courtney love, about doing the halloween show and she said she was down like a clown...well, we haven't been able to find who to talk to about this? we'd like to prevent another travesty like last year when the misfits were forced to play at, like, 10 am...where is the show anyway? and who cares as long as Hole is playing it. the band is tight and well rehearsed and, in true hole style, courtney has been able to only make to one full practice. the rest of the time she has been busy with her bikini body.
sorry, becky, if i'm not looking hard enough for the info, but i couldn't find it..
