I'll get between those staves

I didn't go see 3-6 Mafia but I did go to Lowbrau and have one of these. Man, this beer is spectacular. It smells just like Consecration to me and tastes like a Russian River brew, too. It's only 8% ABV, rad. Too bad it's insanely rare.  wa wah

Does anyone know why the Bee and SNR have ads that say the Tower has a documentary about Jodorowsky's Dune that started on April 11th when it isn't actually playing there? This went on for at least a couple of days.

They sometimes book the ad and then pull the film last minute. It happens.

You should be able to snag some of that Crooked Stave collab. I wasn't the hugest fan. But I'm no certified beer judge.

I've been looking forward to seeing Jodorowski's Dune for weeks and when they ran the ads but no showtimes I called to ask about it. The response was that they weren't playing it. Which is a drag, because the only other theater playing it near here is in Berkeley.

those ads are super expensive! I hear that the Crest is playing the actual movie, but I am pessimistically guessing that the screening will be on a night that I can't go.

They pulled the same trick with "Under the Skin", that got pushed back to 4/25.

Some of it are for movies they are expecting to show in Sacramento. Some of them are part of the corporate thing to favor influence for their New York theaters.

They would show or not show a movie in Sacramento for NYC influence. You also get distro not wanting the Crest to go under. If you knock off the competition it hurts yourself in the long run.

That was from when movies were on prints. I don't know what the distro is like know that they're mostly digital.
