Since after 10 years I often have the vague feeling that I have written most posts/made most jokes before, perhaps I have done so here, but for your amusement I present SOME of my copious childhood crushes (Skipper just reminded me of Hogan's Heroes, which made me think of my Bob Crane crush):
Bob Crane in HH
Cartoon Superman in Superfriends (this was probably my first - at like 4, I'm glad it didn't warp me forever)
Christopher Reeves as Superman
Han Solo (hardly treading new territory here)
Greatest American Hero
Gopher on Loveboat
Hawkeye on MASH (this one is still going)
Andy Griffith
Christopher Plummer in Sound of Music
Dick Van Dyke
Kirk, obvs, Spock too (but never McCoy)
Barney Miller
It's weird but I can't think of any PBS ones despite how much I watched it. Started looking at a couple sesame street videos and how rad is this one? Indelibly etched in my memory.
I'm sure I will remember more crushes throughout the day. What about yours? Jack Tripper may have been in there but I think he was too much of a fool. Can you tell how much frigging TV I watched? In my tweens in the summer I would watch TV like 10 hours a day. Pretty sad.

Wilma Deering in "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century." Which then gave way as I matured from sixth grade to seventh grade to Bailey Quarters on "WKRP."
Sam Malone & Dwayne Wayne!!!

My dad hardly ever let us watch regular TV, so most of my first "start" crushes were on old movie stars. But, I did have a crush on John Schneider (Luke Duke), Eric Estrada from Chips, Patrick Duffy from Dallas, and Michael Paul Glaser from Starky & Hutch.
DKK
Scott Bernard (Robotech)
Rook (Robotech)
Ferris Bueller
Justin the Rat from Secrets of NIMH (......)
Wedge Antilles (Star Wars)
No discussion of Sacramento childhood TV memories is complete without a mention of Tom "Night Comfort Theater" LaBrie
First female on my wall as a kid was Joan Jett.
I may have tripped into weird and underground music early, but I still had a favorite Exposé member (Jeannette Jurado (her alliterative name sealed the deal)).
Elaine on "Seinfeld". Gabriela Sabatini of professional tennis. Katerina Witt of figure skating. Phoebe Cates in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". Lori Laughlin of the movie "Rad" (but not so much on "Full House"). Ione Skye of "The River's Edge" and "Say Anything". Carly Simon on early LP covers. The nude painted woman on the cover of Abraxas by Santana.
Token blonde: Olivia d'Abo of "The Wonder Years". Maybe also Kim Gordon on the cover of Sonic Youth's Sister album, but not after I saw her in other pictures.
Dani: your crushes are much more masculine than mine.
I had a crush on Cameron from Ferris Bueller! I think that says a lot about me.
Of course Keanu Reeves from Bill and Ted era. And Michael J. Fox as Teen Wolf!
LOL at Santana cover model.
When I brought up Greatest American Hero EC mentioned Connie Sellecca as any red-blooded American male would. Yowza.
wow, not only a cartoon crush, but it was a rat?! It's a good thing you didn't turn out to be a furry. Or did you?
Rick: I can't help but point out how old you were when Seinfeld started. That's ok, celebrity crushes don't ever have to end.
It's okay Caroline, I also had a crush on a cartoon rodent - Gadget from Rescue Rangers. I also didn't end up a furry.
I also totally get the Elaine thing, even though even I was old enough to not consider that a childhood crush.
As far as weird classic summertime TV crushes go, I really liked Andy's girlfriend Ellie Walker on the Andy Griffith Show. You know, the pharmacist.

For the record, I am not a furry, but it would be okay if I was.
Obviously my crush did not keep me from pursuing a career of NIH funded rodent research. Womp, womp.
Wonder Woman, Kathleen Turner, and Vanity.
Jed
Lynda Carter was definitely crush #1
I think we may have been separated at birth judging from your crushes and desire to drink vinegar as a child. I like Speed Racer though, not Superman. Ditto on almost all of the other ones, but I liked the mustachioed stoner DJ on WKRP and of course both Richie Cunningham AND The Fonz. Cameron too.
-Jack Tripper's wife on "Threes a crowd" (the Threes Company spin off)
-Lea Thompson in Howard the Duck
Becky, I was 15 when Seinfeld debuted. So, the line is drawn at adolescence?
Oooooh...Vanity!
I also forgot Barbra Streisand in "What's Up, Doc?".
Who liked the dad in Sound of Music?
For me, there were many. Right now I'm remembering the Professor on Gilligan's Island, Paul from the Wonder Years (I can't explain that one) and Corey Haim.
NL
The professor! Totes. I liked the dad in sound of music. And the Nazi teenager just a lil bit.
Wow, I guess I think of Seinfeld as not as old as it is.
and Almanzo on Little House on the Prairie
I had a Loni Anderson bikini poster in my room in the WKRP days and I definitely had the hots for Julia Louis Dreyfuss back when she was on Fridays, a decade or so before she was Elaine on Seinfeld. Also had a disturbing-in-retrospect fascination with Ms. Marvel as illustrated by Dave Cockrum.

I did not know the cartoon thing was so prevalent.
Christie Brinkley since I was about 7 years old. The kick is that now I'm old and fat, and she looks exactly the same.
I think if you read comics and/or watched cartoons in earnest (that's right, in earnest!) you had a cartoon crush or 3. I'm not saying I had a crush on She-Hulk but I'm sure someone did.
Now I'm not saying that I'm the one with the crush on She-Hulk, but I'm pretty sure there must have been some conspiracy to put her in comics purely to warp young boys (and girls?) minds. Look at some of these covers!

I love she hulk, even as a kid I was so fascinated. Big lady, lawyer, bikini, totally the best.
This conversation has made me realize I didn't really have many crushes as a little kid. Maybe because we didn't have much TV? I did however form very strong crush like attachments to records and their covers. Billy Joel's the Stranger, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Will the Circle be Unbroken, Fleetwood Mac Rumours. So attached, hours of staring. I guess it was like my TV.
Natalie.
I loved Will the Circle Be Unbroken! So many hours spent staring at the record cover. I've got my mom's copy here if you ever want to take a look and say hi to your old friends.
MH
I stared at record covers but mostly the scary ones. I will post some of those pics today!
Just a couple of weirdo kids who love it old timey
