holy shit
Holy shit! Gangland shooting at Pho Ga Hung. I think I can picture this place and it's in the newer development across from the one that contains Thai Thai. I've never eaten at any of those places. This is freaky and also means we will have to endure 10 more years of comments about South Sac being ghetto and how it's dangerous to eat in the area. Which no one is saying about Natomas despite the fact that someone got killed in the parking lot of Center Court there recently. But yes, scary because it was an execution during the day rather than a drunken argument.

The same new center as Asia Pearl? Man, that's scary & sad. One of my first jobs was working in community education/ESL in that part of town as part of gang prevention. It always breaks my heart a little to hear this type of news.
no, not the same as asian pearl. it's not on stockton. it's across the street from the complex where new paris was. i think. but yeah, terrible.
I feel sorry for the business owners...that place is likely going to be deserted for a while.
I know. I felt like my original post sounded callous. That is horrible for the guy's family, and also I'm sure everyone in the restaurant was horribly traumatized. Here's the Bee story, I though I linked to it before
