Interactive post

Top albums:
Gucci Mane (everybody looking)
Solange (I slept on it and now I love it!)
DVSN (Mike C told me about this one and it's a real between the sheets classic)
Vince Staples EP is good
Schoolboy Q
Drake Views from the 6 grew on me, he usually starts his albums out with a couple of weak songs and this is no exception
Life of Pablo was a'ight, couple good songs
Wknd was weak AF!
Albums I will probably get into but haven't fully checked out yet:
Danny Brown (maybe - seems to rock-y for me. I like my rap and rock separate and actually I don't really like rock too much)
Beyoncé (hey, put it on Spotify!)
Miranda Lambert (on a friend's recommendation, it's a double disk and I didn't make it all the way through)
Tribe Record
Chance record (his baby talking annoys me, but he is obviously rad)
Frank Ocean (so meander-y, but I need to listen a couple more times)
What about you?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I think the only newish album i heard this year is the 21 Pilots with the Blurryface song.
I liked the Globs live so I'm guessing I'd like the album too

I think I listened to maybe 6 records that came out this year and they're all good. I only listen to good records, I guess. Drug Apts, The Globs, Jay's tape, Ghoul School, this dude/band Berwanger who used to be in bands I liked in the late 90's/early 2000's, and this band called Martha from Durham, England, that I kinda wonder if Scott would like but he might actually not like at all.

ummm you should at least watch Lemonade. I think it is well worth the money. It's, in my opinion, a total masterpiece. Maybe it just came into my life in the right moment, but it sent me on a crazy emotional journey (a rare situation for me when viewing things).

I really love Solange and think the songs are lovely, but have not seemed to be able to get through the album more than once. It gets a little sleepy for me maybe? I dunno, I need to keep on trying. Or maybe with this Trump shit i need something with a little more active fire and anger.

Keep trying with Frank Ocean. It's in my top 5 for sure.
