Davis facts

Three, three I say, people darted in front of my car in downtown Davis today. No crosswalks, nothin'.  Also Bassnectar is the grossest band name.

Downtown Davis is the worst to drive in. I hate it so much. Bikes, cars & pedestrians all have no idea what a stop sign is.

Pverall, Davis is definitely the worst city locally to drive in!

Bikers and pedestrians do complicate it through their own stupidity, but actually, it's the drivers of Davis who are unsafe because they try to be too safe. It's borderline blood-boiling to sit behind stopped cars at intersections, all simultaneously yielding to each other.

(Although the area of South Sac around SF Supermarket/Huong Lan/Pho King #2/etc. is thee worst!)

I hate Davis driving too. I drive cautiously but always end up getting a dirty look from a college kid anyway.

Davis just sucks for everything no home depot Costco Walmart the people that live are really stupid they won't allow those kinds of stores to be built in Davis but most of the residents drive to woodland and sac and go to there stores so those counties get all the sales tax and the Davis residents waste all there gas driving there duh

Haha...wondered the same thing!

If not, and if Davis sucks because it doesn't have all those big box stores, then maybe Sacto is closer to world-class than I thought.

Davis does still have a higher than average rate of sales tax leakage, but Target and Forever 21 helped even than out so that it dropped outta the last top ten for leakage I saw.

I doubt many Davisites actually create that many hydrocarbons between there and the Woodland Home Depot, though. In the same report, I read that the Davis Ace Hardware is one of the most prosperous Ace Hardware stores in Northern California.

The pre-Target Davis when the only non-grocery low-order goods available were at Long's or Rite Aid....now that truly was miserable!

Who cares about Home Depot? Bring back the Aggie Hotel!

Here's a case against human evolution that you won't hear about in the heartland...

Florence and Naples during the Renaissance were half the population of Davis today.

Today cities celebrate the opening of a Buffalo Wild Wings or the destruction of antiquated signs.
