pizza

Classic!

The Paul Collins show was good. It's hard to understand why more of these songs weren't huge hits.
These pictures are just to remind you how good Masullo's is.
I always get the margherita and add anchovies. It was kind of embarrassing this time when the server already knew my order. Next time I'll mix it up.
In addition to that kerazy coupon he prints every couple of weeks in the SNR with two-for-one pizzas, the Land Park News, which he has on the counter at his restaurant, has a coupon for 1/2 off a bottle of wine on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Speaking of wine, I just got the 58 degrees email about their tasting tonight, and it's a good one:

Wednesday Wine Tasting - "Harvesting Delights"
5-7pm - $10/person
tonight's lineup:

2008 Domaine de l'Hortus Bergerie de l'Hortus Rose, Languedoc/Rousillon
2006 Domaine Camus-Bruchon Savigny-Lès-
Beaune
Les Pimentiers, Burgundy
2006 Davis Bynum Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
2005 Mas des Chimères, Coteaux-du-Languedoc
2005 Novelty Hill Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley

Eric Asimov's tasting today in the times is wines from the Languedoc, so that has piqued my interest.

Oh yeah, and happy birthday nanna Jana!

I can never order anything other than the Jacqueline! I told our waitress that they should offer a fried egg on their pizzas, and she said they do that all the time in the kitchen.

Settling for less, fried egg on leftover potato and bacon pizza is a REALLY good breakfast, I found out.

The only breakfast pizza I have had is at the Big Sur Bakery and it RULED. One Speed offers a breakfast pizza with fried egg. Let me know if you guys want to go there for breakfast some time.

Well, a fried egg isn't neccesarily a breakfast thing, I think it's a pretty classic Italian thing. But yes let's hit up One Speed!

I also think pretty much all food should have a fried egg on it.

nice shots; that charcuterie plate looks bomb!
the despina was tasty, again, but i really dug the salad with kumquats, which is out of season and no longer on the menu.

fft just told me. that's cool!

yes! I beat the sexy twins. I think that MY Playboy spread put me over the top this year, accusations of extreme airbrushing aside.

Is that tuna on those little breads, edging up against the cheese?

It was an intense moment of personal shame for me when the soup twins emailed me and asked that I take down the link to their nude photos from my blog. I don't why, but it made me feel like a worm and a fool.

I'm glad hecksac beat them, because Twin Soup is lame.

that is embarrassing, but are they trying to keep that a secret? that's silly. there is no shame in posing nude.

Yes, it was tuna, it was really good. I only got one bite. It's a little odd that Masullo serves this plate with no bread or crackers.

I had the same meat and cheese plate last night at Masullo's and I believe it was pork not tuna on the cracker like bread. It was OK. Hot Italian has better pizza in my book. And my book is usually right. Just kidding! On a more serious note, brother Brad has moved back to Ohio and my band The Ancient Sons will be on a worldwide search for a bass player that is not only awesome but can possibly sing with us. We have a myspace if anyone is interested.

Maybe it was pork and tuna mixed together. It was confusing.

I bought a yoga poster today. Have I crossed some sort of line? Poll to the right.

Thanks for the birthday shout out. I will reward you by allowing you to watch me eat an entire sushi boat tonight.

1. I think it's pork rillettes.
They should serve it with some of that yummy pizza dough bread stuff that you get with the salads.

2. What is a yoga poster?

3. I'm glad you're #1, the Twin blog is kind of dumb.

Was it this one?

Good idea, I think I will order one for nanna J for her birthday.

I totally read "paul collins" as "phil collins" and between phil collins and yoga posters I was beginning to believe you really had crossed some kind of line.
