The Verge is having a holiday open house party this Thursday with drinks and snacks. I will be bartending, and smiller and OMF will be DJing. It starts at 5:30. Dress festively, for Jesus sake.

Oh man, I should have invited you personally to Oktoberfest. I guess I assumed you would have better/cooler things to do. I'm glad my blogging is giving you even some momentary relief from boredom.
I needed an Oktober fest to wear my new hella sweet lederhosen too. Maybe I'll wear 'em to the holiday party tomorrow night to get it out of my system.... what are other occasions where lederhosen could be appropriate besides my wedding?
I say any occasion is ripe for some lederhosen. For instance, grocery shopping is more delightful in 'hosen.
