So there is a hardcore band from sac called trash talk who are really popular and who have a song called "sacramento is dead" and
here is a video of their fans singing along at some hardcore show in belgium? people are grabbing the mic to sing sacramento is dead. what? how? why? huh?

It's crazy how Sacramento bands can be completely overlooked locally and then be relatively big nationally or worldwide. Hopefully no one hates me for this, but I think they're actually pretty good for a modern hardcore band. On their wiki entry it says Keith Morris appears on their album, which seems pretty rad to me. Plus, considering Sacramento isn't exactly an ideal environment for hardcore kids (who are usually pretty young) without an all ages venue that will regularly book local hardcore shows, I can kind of understand their stance, assuming they're saying Sacramento is dead as in Sacramento is not good.
