Progress II

Wow, the cowboy and bull sculpture-Progress II- that was at 16th and K forever is going to be installed in the Crocker. The Crocker's chief curator, Scott Shields, calls the sculptor, Luis Jiminez, "the most important Latino sculptor of the 20th century" and it's supposedly now valued at a million bucks. The sculptor was killed in 2006 when one of his sculptures fell on him and severed an artery in his leg! Check out that racist comment that is the most popular on the Sacbee article.

I'm glad to see this sculpture come back. Sculpture is a weird word when you write it this many times.

I hate the Bee comments.
I also imagine every single one of them being read in the Jack FM/Carl's Jr. voice. It is after all the voice of Sac.

Oh, man...the Carl's Jr voice-over guy is the biggest reason I can't stand the thought of eating there (even more than the food itself!).

That's not really the voice of Sac, is it?
