bright ideas song link

This website posted a favorable review of the Bright Ideas 7 inch, but the best part (for me) is that he posted an mp3! He also put it at #9 on his top ten eps of 2006

I wonder if dude got that song from me or scott via soulseek. I know I made a mp3 of it a while back.

That guy Chris emiled me a few weeks ago & ordered that single. He must've seen the Still Single review of it on Dusted. That whole Dusted review was written under the assumption that I was Scott Miller from Game Theory so I wasn't exactly stoked on it - but I guess it made one person aware of it's existence.

"pointed accounts of people you know" was a good LP, good job on that smiller.

That's not to bag on Game Theory by the way, just that that's something that's followed me around for seriously like 15 years. Any time I mailorder something form a music dork - from Tom lax at Siltbreeze to Martin from The Flatmates - it's always "you don't happen to be the person responsible for Lolita Nation? If so (insert crazy fan letter here)". Game Theory's rad though. I was just listening to them last week & again got all psyched when he sings "all the kids from the 916 came down...".

shit, becky. i chuckled out loud after reading that comment. that and the story about charles' sandwich getting eaten by some dogs.

My sandwhich getting eaten wasn't that funny at the time.

Becky is still the only person I have met that will take stray dogs into her house. For that, I think she is the best.
