I volunteered for a couple of hours getting signatures for the petition when this dude came along. Very enthusiastic and mentioned that he was writing an article for the Sacramento Press. Personally I didn't have the time to wait in line for any of the food and everybody I spoke with waited at least 2 hours. But the response is really encouraging both for getting the ordinance changed and the fact that it was organized by people who cared about this issue.
