free piano

Does anyone need a piano? My friend is giving one away. She said it stays in tune, it's old, and "it's good for dicking around on". Free to anyone who can move it. She said she moved it in with three people and a truck.

I know that the Ghost Town dudes wanted to haul a piano out there. Somebody should tell WesternTim.

I asked my brother in law who owns a music store (Watermelon in Davis) about getting free pianos. They get that offer but don't take them up on it. Most free pianos need a lot of work so they refer them to a piano tuner. They're getting out of piano moving since everyone's back is screwed up from it.

This free piano is just sort of worn out. It has good tone for a console and stays in tune well. The only real problem with it is that it could use new hammer felts and there are some superficial scratches. I actually really love it, but I've inherited something better.

Even though I already have one, I'm tempted to take it. I mean, a piano player can never have too many pianos.

Only problem is that I won't be in a position to move it for like a month.
