Yeah, Sacramento's doomed. And "Sacramento's Next!" is a hot, hot, sexy subject in the national media right now. I expect a Time cover story. Seriously. Or a big, big New Yorker article or Harper's round-table discussion.
Thanks for highlighting this article (and to your reader for posting the correct link) as I'd have missed it otherwise. I was lucky enough to interview Jeff Mount for a show I produced on the potential for urban flooding in California, and he's definitely the go-to guy on the subject. And yes, we should be afraid -- very afraid. Researching this program was a sobering experience...
