there is money, spend it! spend it! spend more!

I'm not a super-big shopper except of the thrift store variety (OK, and the H and M variety) but I was perusing Jane while running an errand and they had this website listed with some amazing socks, so I'm giving you the link. I just bought three rad pairs for 21 bucks and shipping is free!

Beckles, you are reading my mind. I wrote that website down to take to work with me today so that I could look at it. Now I can just use your handy link.

Why is that blocked at school? It says it is R rated? Is there sock porn?

Sock porn is the best. That's probably why it's blocked. Damn federal subpoenas.

There is some ass on that site, maybe that's why it's blocked. Thanks for helping me spend money Beckler!

I went shopping yesterday and bought a Mason Pearson hairbrush, after reading rants about them for about 15 years. Has anybody else used one? I absolutely love it. I had no idea my old hairbrush sucked so bad. It was shocking! Those Brits, they know a good hairbrush.

What does the brush do? Does it style your hair for you?

You know how when you have to spend a bunch of money on something stupid like, say, axles, you are just like fuck it why not spend it all and you start to do just that? This is what I have bought today: the aforementioned socks, a Beat Happening CD and a subscription to Gourmet magazine (only 12 bucks, such a deal!)

becky,

that totally happens to me. when i get close to running out of money for the month or something and i just loose all sense of self control and buy some vinyl i don't really need or get some fancy pants clothes.

I feel like it did kind of style my hair for me! Plus it gives a hell of a scalp massage. I'm not kidding either. And you are totally right, for the freaking fortune that I spent on that hairbrush, it better be great.

I too bought some mag subscriptions today!

W and Antiques.

But the one I really wanted "world of interiors" is too terribly expensive for me to shell out for, even in my mad rush to rid myself of all the money I posess.

Bye everyone! Have a nice weekend! Natalie and Heather, are you guys going to see some bull-riding? That sounds awesome.

Ben and I are heading off to Jake and Bridget's. She got him a how-to-cook-in-the-fireplace cookbook for Christmas, so we're going to roast some beast and drink some Bordeaux.

A tout a l'heure! Too-ta-loo!

sock porn? Is that some CHilli Peppers shit? (Damm you scar tissue)

Michelle, be careful with Jake cooking on the fire, he could easily start fire of some sort.

I once had a subsription to Gourmet. It was awesome. It really would urge me to make a new recipe once a month. Plus, if you keep them organized in magazine storage cartons that you get at Ikea when in opens in West Sac March 1, there's an index in the back of each magazine with a year's worth of recipes that you can look up if there is something in particular you want to cook. Of course you could always got to Epicurious.com too but the magazines are fun.
