"It turned my pee pee to pine"-Rex Reed

I give a firm thumbs up to the Descent, in fact I give it one of the firmest thumbs I've had all year. In fact in fact, you can quote me on saying that this movie turned my peepee to pine. It is really really gorey and disturbing. Please don't bring your child to this movie as a few other did at the screening I was at. And don't go if you have a phobia of people crawling through clautrophobically small places, as my viewing partner has. Next he and I will be screening the movie Crawlspace (which I never knew starrted Klaus Kinski till I just now looked it up).

Viewing partner? This ain't the Midtown Monthly dog! Unless you were trying to not embarass me. Because yes, when the woman was trapped in the narrow tunnel, I got all freaked out & had to go get a water. Also, in the preview of Saw 3 the weird little clown puppet turned to the audience & said :Are you ready to play a game Sacramento?". It ruled. That's about the only good thing I can say abouth the Saw series though.

sorry, you've been downgraded to viewing partner now. saw 1 was pretty good. saw 2 had an excellent-writing-in-a-vat-of-syringes-scene. although a similar scene in ghandi was filmed more skillfully.

Hands down the sacramento part of the saw 3 trailer was the single best trailer event of the year!
The whole theater was abuzz with excitement.

I agree that the Descent was great! A grade A fine thriller. I was actually scared through much of it and was loving it. I'm glad to see that Gollem and his family are still working in the theater arts. I recomment this movie to all parents who subscribe to the "scare them out of trouble" parenting method. Your kids will never creep down any hole, cave, tunnel or shaft and will forever be scared shitless of naked blind albinoes (if they weren't already). Keep them safe the old fashioned way.

yeah, i totally loved the descent when i saw it last summer in the UK. i was really worried it wouldn't get released here and that all my friends would miss out. it was a year ago that i saw it over there so that's a hefty lag time. . .also, when i went to see it in the theater across the pond i thought it was just going to be a b horror film. but, it actually did scare me and i loved the gore.

miller, i was pretty freaked during the crawl space scene too. my anxiety levels went up and didn't really come down for the rest of the film after that moment in the movie.
