i feel bad about what i said regarding Sam on my blog. after reading the letters everyone wrote about how much Sam touched them i got really sad too. he was ugly and liked to growl but he did make people happy. poor sam.
Sam had a doting owner (or companion, guardian...whatever California calls it) and
lived a good long life. He wasnt even that
ugly in many of those photos. He was almost
cute!
