antique fair
This is to remind myself as much as you, cuz I always forget, but that antique fair that is under the freeway is this sunday. I've never found anything that good there, but it's still fun to go to and there's always hope. You can go to the farmers market and then there and spend most of your day under the freeway.

You have to go to the antique fair with a certain sort of mindset. I think of it kind of like visiting a somewhat scruffy museum, but if I really, really like something I can take it home. I haven't found too much I can't live without at the antique fair, but it is good for the occasional knicknack.
I always find good cheap stuff - amid all the overpriced crap - you just really have to dig sometimes. The bargain $1 and $5 tables are the best.
On that note, I'll be out there selling this weekend. Come buy my reasonably priced crap. Please!
