First a guitar god, now a fashion icon?

In case you missed it, here's a link to a full-color fashion spread that the Bee had on Mike Ferrell on sunday. I posted some of the pictures for those of you who hate to register on the Bee's website. Speaking of Ferrell, I listened to Daisy Spot last night while driving on 99 home from Chico and it sounded amazing.

I HATE this spread.
I don't know why but it makes me furious.

-fashion don't.

Even though this article is beyond annoying, the fact that Mike's always been a really sweet, genuine guy makes me hate it slightly less. I wonder how he feels about the finished product.

I think this is dorky to the max, but that he looks cool. I enjoy his fashion. My favorite look is when I saw him rock a sherlock holmes hat and capelet. And as far as the story goes, I think it's cute to imagine some teen taking his fashion advice. It's just the kind of thing I would have been into as a kid. And it probably would have led to me checking out one of his shows (if there was an all-ages one) and making friends and moving downtown, etc. I basically just described the progression that led me out of Lincoln into being the downtown dweller that I am today, only you'd have to substitute Alive and Kicking for this Bee article. So how can I hate on it?

And that's the story of my life. The end.
