glad to see that eleanor is choosing some better fashion for the FFs current tour. she looks good! too bad they're not coming to harlows this time. or sf.

She does look better here -- maybe even a little like Chrissie Hynde in this shot. Hopefully she's been working on some stage presence. That Harlow's show was like they put on the CD -- they played the whole Blueberry album beginning to end note-for-note, no breaks, no banter, no great-to-be-heres. The musicianship was good, but they were boringly all business. Except the drummer! That dude had an excellent Keith Moon shtick down -- the maniacal solos, the goofy faces, the funny cymbaling, all while sweat-soaked. Course, he's probably been rotated out by the real FF's for another drummer by now. Maybe their grandma can take them up!

Yeah, that drummer's out. It was pretty obvious he would move on to some other gig soon. But they didn't play Blueberry Boat start to finish. In fact, I have the set list in my room so I know they didn't. And what about that encore? That was rad. In fact, here's a link to my old show review and you can see there was some banter. I hate reading old stuff I wrote because then I remember that I write stupid crap all the time but here goes:
