OK, I sent it, but there is a set E that I am not sure if they played or not. I hope the cops have better stuff to do tonight.

My best moment last year was during "Wish it would rain" Transcendental!

Back in Black - what a classic Four Eyes Christmas opener. Perfectly shitty.

I Wish It Would Rain - oddly touching. I like when Joel busts his inner soul man. I just imagined a Four Eyes song call Joel Man. How would you guys feel about running with that?

Judy in Disguise 6th?? That's why I show up on time!

Or wait, did I already live through Joel Man? I believe we've already touched on my shitty memory...

goosebumps again! porcupine pie! holiday routine! with glasses!

on sunday at 730 at the guild, MOBS is hosting a "Crappy Christmas" screening of the movie "Santa Claus Conquers The Martians". Five bucks. They encourage you to bring "holiday cheer".

I appreciate Cortez the Killer right in the middle of it all. That must have been either a big crowd pleaser or the time when people slipped outside to have a nip of their whiskey?? Thats one of my all time favorite songs. ps. Biz/Head, I sent you something care of Conway.

I was pissed during Cortez the Killer. In all the ways one can be pissed.

Grizzly Man ruled. oooh wip, oooh wip ooh...
Any chance of anyone saying what time it starts?

Anonymous said...

8 is the time.
Bring beer.

Wait, didn't 2007 finish with we are the world?

The setlists aren't quite in order. we always move stuff around during the show. But technically, yes, We Are The World was last that year, though I know we did a encore. I remember a sweet, slow reprise of Redemption Song, and there was probably something else. Another Tubthumper maybe?

-biz

beckler said...

I think we were changing the lyrics to tubthumper at the end.

And everyone should know that the proper answer to "what time does it start" is: good question.

Anonymous said...

Pretty sure there was a Tubthumper: slight return.

-miller

Anonymous said...

Starts at 8:00, or as close to as we can manage. We got maybe our best opener ever this year. So don't miss it, or do if you want. Whatever.

I heard it was Hotel California.

No way. I guess we finally found the line that we won't cross. Actually, that's not quite true. I put my foot down about doing All Star this year.

On another note I'm totally bored, as the amount of posts I've made probably show, but I've just cracked my first brew of the day.

-biz

beckler said...

oops, i meant "at the end we were chanting tubthumper". not changing. i would never change tubthumper.

pace yourself, biz.

Anonymous said...

Undraw that All Star line! That's 'last set' material right there. Also, do you know how stoked Ed C would be??

Stoked enough to come inside?

ladies night! ladies night! ladies night!

i have to say though, i was pretty disappointed that my chant of "best jew ever" did not catch on after you guys played "forever in bluejeans". i learned that it all depends on who you know. if you can get al in on your chant, you're set. if you can only get charles, it's a 50/50 chance.

beckler said...

oh man, i just remembered that i was spilling beer on people's heads during no, no nobody. sorry!

As the years go by, the Foureyes will eventually run songs worthy of covering so dry that they'll start doing Jay & Joel Show songs at the Foureyes Christmas show.

Anonymous said...

We might have already done that
