The strange thing about "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is the way that Depp's performance seems to exist in a world of its own, while the film succeeds despite him. Depp is so consistently good that this miscalculation may simply be an illustration of his willingness to take chances. It's not a bad performance, just somehow a wrong performance

a few years ago a few friends and i went to bellingham washington. we hung out with our friend micheal griffen.....he is in a band called noggin...he's like 80 and plays noise music and is really nice and has cool shit all over his cool house....when we were there last i noticed his fish tank with no fish or water in it...it had many old rusty tool type things and a can of pepsi....on closer inspection i saw that the pepsi was no ordinary pepsi, but a pepsi kona in fact.....

well, yes i'll give you a picture and i'll even sign it for you....and a pepsi kona was a mix of coffee drink and pepsi cola made in 1996...i think it was a test market for the east coast only.....thats why many of us may have never heard of it....
so my point....
they don't make this soda anymore...
my buddy, cody, and i decided to ebay it!...we found a 2 litter that costs 41.00 and some change....and a regular can of it for almost 11.00!!!!
so here is what i'm getting at....
i would like to know if anyone would like to split the cost of these drinks, one or both,...i'm looking for a few good men(and women)....say about 5 or 8 people to split the cost and we can all meet here at tower and try it out for the first time anyone has had it in nearly 10 years!!!!!
this is an exciting moment for us all and we should take it by the balls and rip them off!!!!

oh yeah, one sidenote...the soda is expired so if you get sick from taking a half cup drink..then ...you're a pussy....that and you should realize that it's a risky venture, but it's a risk i'm willing to take....you should too!

p.s today we mixed pepsi cola with some tower coffee and made what we belive to be a pepsi kona....it didn't taste to bad....
i guess i'm in, but only if a bunch of other people are. i don't want to pay more than a couple of bucks. there's this gross stuff called "manhattan cola" that is actually manufactured in brooklyn near alicia's house and it's an espresso flavored soda. it's nastles.

I don't know. Two liter sounds better but I wonder if a plastic bottle would be more likely to go bad. If we were all killed by that at least it would be funny.
