Newsflash!
OK, there's an amazing event tonight that kinda came together at the last minute. Tonight at the Press my favorite DJ, Mike C. has put together a night in which Tyler and Mario from !!! are dj'ing and Touchez is playing. Don't miss this! Tomorrow, !!! and Touchez are playing at Harlow's. If you are the type who has myspace, and you have friends who might be in to dancing at the Press, send out an alert or whatever those things are called.

please, don't use the word "amazing" or "legendary" on your blog, it bothers me.

while I may overuse the word "amazing", a quick google search revealed that the word "legendary" has made two appearances, both in comments not written by me. however, commenter, it is amazing what a legendary asshole you are.

If anyone's wanting to double-dip n' see two shows on a Tuesday night in Sacto, my little show at Luigi's Fun Garden with a couple really rad bands from Canada is starting at 8 and letting out by 10:30 or 10:45 at the very latest, so you can still go catch !!! just eight blocks away afterward.
Aren't most !!! fans all about being fashionably late anyway? So come be early to my unfashionable show....please!?!!? (Seriously, I'm kinda worried that it will be a ghosttown in there. And these bands--Nü Sensae, Terror Bird (hello, any Kate Bush-meets-Morrissey fans out there?), and Mental Stagnation--are a high entertainment dollar value in a cigar-free zone.)
oh crap, now my guilt level is rising, but I can't skip my yoga class. Kate Bush meets Morrissey sounds really good, though. maybe i'll come by and have a slice for dinner.
