Thank You Four Eyes

ha! I like that I get a Bruno Mars spambot comment below.  The Bruno Mars cover (sung by Davey!) is actually my fuzziest memory of the evening.  I remember yelling "that song sucks" which is rude, although true.  The Four Eyes show was the best, as usual.  I will post the set list when I remember to bring it to work.  They opened with "Truckin", which was a sure sign that the set would be stellar.  Then when they played Pee Pee 1990 I totally blew out my voice singing it.  My throat hurt so bad.  They closed with an ecstatic rendition of Wooly Bully.  The night was marred by right vs. left violence, however.  The middle took the Switzerland tack.  Some would call them cowards.  At least the so-called right (although I'd like to point out that my right is your left), evil as they are, had the courage to take a side.

It was "Moves Like Jagger", not Bruno Marz!

my bad. I thought that was a Bruno Mars song. Maroon 5? Ugh.

what? Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens aren't dating anymore? Why didn't anyone tell me? I saw a preview for some Nicholas Spark's Efron movie and he is so buff now. He's like two Efrons big. P.S.-Young Adult not terrible, but ultimately thumbs down. It's weird that I've watched two Diablo Cody movies in the last week. Still have not seen Juno, though.

Davy singing that song was the highlight for me!

He had a lot of fake tattoos in the preview. Does he have real ones? Maybe of barbed wire?

p.s.-my therapist talks about herself too much. I ditched my cold, Teutonic non-sharing therapist for this soccer mom type-lady. I don't care if you met Matthew Modine!

I liked Young Adult alright. Funny how Charlize Theron wasn't likeable until she played the most unlikeable person ever. At least to me.

I liked it alright, too, but there were flaws. Good setup, didn't really go much of anywhere.

I think that gripe about my therapist qualifies as my Gripe of the day. Maybe I will tweet it?

I didn't think it was realistic that the Patton Oswalt character would be so alone. He was a cool, interesting guy. Just because he likes painting guys doesn't mean he would be doomed to a life of solitude.
