The only similarity between the 2 photos is the guy's hair... I wonder which is more accurate.

Dude. Beermans is at my work right now giving away free beer. I'm so buzzed...but I agree. Scary!

And that pursesnatching was far too close to Connie's to ease my nerves. Why can't perps just stick to robbing people they know, anyhow?

I've been looking over my shoulder all week. The last attack -- the fatal one -- occurred just three blocks away from where I live...

has anyone else noticed that the bee consistently fails to print a suspect's race?

the sac pd bulletin says that the suspect is asian, but that is not immediately apparent from looking at the drawing.

could the bee have some sort of policy not to print a suspect's race???

I couldn't tell if he was Asian or Hispanic.

I ran into Miss B. at Safeway yesterday. She has lived across from Southside Park for years now and she said that it is getting rough again. She heard a gunshot the other day. Brew said that a guy we know got beaten up there at night recently and others have noticed lots more gang graffiti. So be careful in this area in general. I know that's not where all the attacks were, this is just a general warning.

Something about the guys cheetos and hamsandwich being stolen made me extra sad.

When I lived by Southside park the local neighborhood association warned me about gun shots which had me a little concerned until I discovered that their general point of origin was 605 T. Though I suppose a wily band of punks are not the culprit these days.

I love that guy -- he has a ham sandwich and cheetos, and some geese and chickens back home. And anyone who feels like rolling into work at 5 a.m. is kind of a sicko, but I understand that overall ethic.

I can't believe residents at 605 would be shooting guns. A .22 by the way, will stop at around 18 8-tracks.

When I lived there, I saw a drive-by which was neat to watch. Anne-Marie, my neighbor at the time, stuck her head out her window to yell, "Hey Smitty, knock it off!" and I had to say, "It's not me, it's that drive-by up the street".
