come to your senses again for the first time

Has anyone else seen the giant Senses mag billboard in west sac? Who is bankrolling this venture. They haven't updated their myspace but a new issue must be out. I can't wait to read about how cool and sophisticated Sac almost is!

heh. The Norcal Noisefest got a brief plug in their list of sensual things to do in Sacramento a couple issues back. They kind of caused a stir on MySpace when they sent out a casting call for models and specified that the models should be thin. many non-thin myspacers objected.

My wife used to get her hair cut there back when it was IXSIS but marcy's prices got too high so she found another stylist.

The mag is the brainchild of Marcy from Senses -- stylist extraordinaire and closet media mogul. Not sure if she's writing the checks or not, but the mag looks really nice. It's great to see so many different people -- the Legend crew, Senses, etc -- adding to the media fugue.

that's, uh, diplomatic of you to say.

Ha ha Burg.
I'm a thin myspacer, too thin lately, and I objected it.
I would hope the indy media would not have the same anorexic little pouty faced model that the mainstream media holds up as beautiful.

I apologize to all for my sloppily written post with many errors. I am full of shame.

Keith:

Don't you think the "indie" media and the "mainstream" media are more or less doing exactly the same thing at this point?

No.
I still believe that there are a-lot of indy publications with integrity.
and then there are blogs...
