the wet stuff

There's a big show at the Hub tonight. It's Sac faves The Intelligence and French band called Sonic Chicken 4 that Rick said is really good. 9 pm.

Tomorrow Babs is getting spayed. Don't tell her, she doesn't know yet. They better do a good job.

This isn't one of those deals where she goes in to get "fixed" and comes out with a new nose is it?

Natalie.

I was just saying this morning how my mom got the ol' "we're going to disneyland" when they took her to take her tonsils out. it was the fifties!

I hope they end up adjusting her attitude. Babs that is, it's too late for your mom.

I heard that Bunchy was offering cash to Babs for her pain killers. That dog has quite a jones.

I'm trying to get Bunchy into a 12 step program now.

I do have to say, the experience has left his little poodle face looking a bit serious. It was a heavy trip.

If you guys need to hear these Frenchies for yourself, please check out the live set they played last night on the radio...

They sound like pop genius and a ton of fun because they are! And if they sound really energetic, just imagine how much more energetic they'll be after a good night's sleep last night. They played that set after driving all the way from Las Vegas where they arrived from L.A. only to find out that they could not play. You'd think their mood would be awful right now, but they are just about the funnest gang I've been around in a while.

Any fan of Box Elders should be there tonight for Sonic Chicken 4.

OK, the Loft H-ween show will be in Feb. Either the 6th or the 20th. The theme is CA. Gold. So far I think only Jane's Addiction has been claimed. Maybe The Beach Boys. We have a venue, but it's gonna cost a teeny amount of cash ($50)

"Is Sham 69 from California?"

I think I saw a band at Gilman street called "Scam 69" fronted by Iggy Scam.

I'm totally going to soak up the sun and then mop the floor with it!

Oh, DP, you do test my tolerance.

I think the essence of Cali counts, Conwad. I asked about CSNY and we all agreed that they are more California than not.

I think someone needs to do Californication. Obvs.

Will the 5 minute solo in the middle of Light My Fire test your patience too?

I call Motley Crue. Vince calls Tommy Lee.

The 5 minute guitar solo will make me cry tears of joy, but I won't feel very good about myself the next day.

wait a minute. stop everything. did jerry perry just comment on heckasac? that was fake jerper, right?

sheryl crow was one of my halloween show dreams (the other being kate bush as everyone knows), but like all dreams i have, i would have chickened out anyway. i'm glad someone is doing it.

I was wondering the same thing about JerPer too! Especially refering to me as DP, so informal. Gotta be a faker.
