What color is puce?

I was remiss in not using the awesome power of my keyboard to post about the Knock Knock tour. See them tonight at Luigis with Baby Grand and the band who cannot be named because their name contains the word "puce". See them tomorrow, post-ORMF with Dreamdate at Sophias.

Sunday, don't forget the Found Footage Festival Four, at the Guild, 7:30. Here's the preview.

Should BRING their own.

Puce is a lovely shade of purple-ish, with a touch of brown in it. I quite like it. It means flea in French.

I see that "Puce Moment" is a Kenneth Anger film so this band will be artsy-fartsy.

If I bring some extra beer will you provide the *you-know-what? (I'm being discreet for the children who are reading heckasac)

Actually, Heckie, Puce Moment features former Munia-ite Suresh Chacko. They are not Artsy Fartsy. They're fun, poppy, and kind of silly. I've never seen them, but Suresh sends me songs all the time.

Puce Moment talked about Christo and wrapped people in fabric. That's a little artsy, but I'm pretty artsy fartsy myself so I was into it.

"olsen - out of the wood work" was by far his best album to date.

It retained the pop sensibility while adding subtle layers of melancholy & estrangement. A banner record in my formative years.

They wrap people in fabric? I'm going to have a talking to with Mr. Suresh when he gets here. That's dumb.
