wtf for real

Holy crap, check out Holly P's yelp of masons! That is indeed egregious. And before I get accused of continuing my campaign to bring down local business, Masons is delicious.

Has anyone tried Mehran? This yelp is very intriguing and I like how she gave the smackdown to that first review.

I see, it's the place where Bravo was. I have to get out there soon.

My dad and his best friend, who is Iranian, go there for lunch a lot and they both say it's excellent. It's awesome to hear that it's inexpensive. The close proximity to Pavillions had me believing it must be pricier and I'm sick and tired of paying $12 for a biryani or curry with 5 tiny pieces of chicken in it.

I can't believe that one Yelper was unfamiliar with Biryanis. That's like half of the menu at every single Indian restaurant in the world, right?

Whoa... technically I was the first reviewer. thought it was me who was getting the smackdown there.

We've been there like ten times, we love it. They don't ask you if you want it spicy or mild, they just nuke your ass. Now if it just delivered like the one we lived by in the EB.... SIGH.......

Beckler, time for another anti-drunk driving rant. This time, the drunk killed Annette Brodovsky, violinist in the Freilachmakers Klezmer String Band here in Sacramento. Here's the URL to the band's CD Baby page:

http://cdbaby.com/cd/freilachmakers2

And here's a mini-bio I found online:

"Annette Brodovsky was born and raised in Switzerland and moved to the United States in 1996. She graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and is working on her Masters degree in violin performance. Annette has held leading positions with various orchestras and chamber groups in Northern California as well as in Europe. She gives lectures on Klezmer music, and currently teaches a Klezmer band at Sacramento State University. A lover of all things Yiddish, Annette is the fiddle player of the Freilachmakers Klezmer String Band, whose new CD will be forthcoming in December 2004. She lives with her husband and their two young daughters in Sacramento, where she also maintains a private Suzuki violin studio."

It's really, really sad. Dunno what's going to have to happen to get a real sense of public outrage going. The driver here was some construction worker from Colorado who was in town on a job.

The most interesting part of Sara B.'s Yelp of Mehran is that Americans can enjoy a meal surrounded by citizens of Pakistan and foreigners from the Middle East. That's a long way for all those non-Americans to travel just for a meal.

That last anonymous comment is my all time favorite comment I've read on heckasac.
