Here's the SN&R review of Kru. It sounds good and I'm excited about the simpler rolls. I'm going to go there sometime next week, like, fer sure.

Anonymous said...: Based on the review it doesn't sound especially simple. The spicy tuna with salmon? The caterpillar with shrimp, avo and eel? Aren't these the same fairly complicated rolls as at all the other places? Maybe they actually are more simple, but it didn't really come across that way in the review.

Anonymous said...: Oh okay, that's what I'd heard and hoped for. Because the reviewer only mentioned two sushi-ish items and they were both goofy rolls (albeit not the goofiest!!!), I was worried that the pure and simple theme wasn't really real. But I'm glad to hear that the opposite is true. Can't wait to go!

and before you silently think this to yourself yes, Natalie is down on fancy restaurant, and yes Natalie is complainy when it comes to the price of sushi, and yes Natalie is rather witty.
