heartwarming story

Last post of the day. I'm not one to post wacky news stories but this one is just too good. This guy had caught a mouse in his house and he thought he'd kill it by throwing into a fire in his front yard where he was burning leaves. The mouse caught on fire, ran back into his house, and burned it to the ground.

Happens at brushfires alot, too. Cute little bunnies, the flames on their soft white fur rapidly spreading, bounce away in a hopeless attempt to escape from the agony, end up spreading the fire to previously uninvolved areas. It's kind of sad, because I always liked bunnies, and one day I want to have a pet bunny, becuase I heard you can train them to use the litter box, and I think it would be just super to have a cute little bunny sleeping on the pillow next to me at night time. Do you like bunnies?

I had a pet bunny and they are easily trained to use a litter box. A word of warning for you though, bunnies don't like the heat of a Sacramento summer. Neither do chinchillas.

sounds eerily close to the story on This American Life about the cop who goes to the people's house to investigate a noise in the attic, and ends up setting off a series of mishaps that give the homeowner a broken nose and burns up his couch by way of a flaming squirrel. funniest shit ever. the story was so popular that they made iron-on patches of a flaming squirrel logo.
